Zelnova was founded in the 1940s under the name of Zeltia, a group of chemical-pharmaceutical companies that created pharmaceuticals sold under the name of Zeltivit, vaccinations, pesticides an fungicides.
From the beginning, we have placed huge importance on the image we project and we take care to advertise our products and brands with original advertisements. We present you some examples of the advertising we have carried out with the brands that form Zelnova Zeltia: ZZ, Fresh Aire, ZZ Paff …
Zeltia is founded in Vigo in 1939 as a division of the Miguel Servet laboratory. We created pharmaceuticals, vaccinations, pesticides..
In 1942 we produced the first aerosol insecticide manufactured in Spain: ZZ.

In this decade, Zeltia established scientific and business relationships with ICI, Cooper McDougall and Robertson Limited, creating four lines: medical, agro-chemical, insecticides and veterinary.

The four lines become three new companies: Zeltia Agraria, ICI Farma and Cooper Zeltia, under the management of Zeltia S.A. In 1964 two relevant companies are born: Xylazel S.A. and Zelnova S.A.

During the 1970s the brand was already well established at a national level, the Zeltia television adverts become common.

In the 80’s we acquired a great brand: Casa Jardin. Its launch stands out for the originality of its communication. 1986 was a crucial year for us, when we founded PharmaMar, a pioneer in the development of anti-tumour drugs of marine origin.

In the 1990s, we launched the first electric air freshener in the world. In addition, Kiff Paff became the first electric insecticide with dual use launched in Europe: air freshener and insecticide.

In 2018 we launched the Vive a Tu Aire brand. Air fresheners made with fragrances that make you live and feel nature.

We develop household products that are more environmentally friendly. We believe that our products should have the minimum impact on the environment, so we have created a new range with formulas of a natural origin.
