Sustainability policy

Zelnova and Copyr form a business group specializing in the production and distribution of a wide range of products designed to enhance home comfort and family health. Our portfolio includes leading air fresheners, cleaning agents, insecticides, and personal care items. Committed to sustainability, we strive to integrate eco-friendly practices into our operations. Our goal is to achieve a balance of economic success, environmental care, and social responsibility, promoting sustainable development that benefits both society and the environment. Recognizing the environmental impact of our activities, products, and services, the Group is dedicated to advancing effective environmental management systems and reducing the impact of our products. These systems guide us towards continuous improvement, focusing on minimizing our ecological footprint through pollution prevention and resource conservation.

This policy outlines the Group’s commitment to sustainability, defines our strategic priorities, and establishes a framework for managing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities. By adhering to this policy, we aim to align our operations with the main global guidelines and agreements on sustainability, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its 2030 Agenda, the Paris Agreement, the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises, and the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. This also encompasses the principles and rights established in the eight fundamental conventions identified in the International Labor Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the International Bill of Human Rights, and the European Green Deal, among the most relevant.

This policy applies to all Zelnova’s and Copyr’s employees and further alignment will be promoted amongst our external stakeholders, including suppliers and commercial partners. It covers all activities related to the manufacturing and distribution of our products. We expect all personnel, regardless of their rank, to understand and apply this policy in their daily activities.

The ESG Policy works in conjunction with the Zelnova Group’s ESG Strategy and Master Plan prepared in 2024.

ESG Principles

  1. Circular Economy

We prioritize the use of recycled materials to reduce the amount of virgin raw materials used and conserve resources. At the same time, we seek to minimize waste and promote recycling. Our goal is to foster a circular economy system, reducing the need for new resources and preventing environmental damage that results in pollution.

  1. Climate Action

The Group is committed to reduce GHG emissions across all our operations and supply chain, helping to improve air quality. We set ambitious decarbonization targets, invest in energy-efficient technologies, and adapt to mitigate climate risks. Our efforts include the use of renewable energy, improved energy management, and climate adaptation preparedness to ensure long-term sustainability.

  1. People First

Our people are fundamental to our efforts to improve the sustainability of our operations. We create an inclusive and supportive work environment to attract and retain the best talent. By promoting diversity and gender equality, we ensure that all employees feel valued.

We are committed to the highest standards of occupational health and safety, providing a safe workplace for everyone.

We also guarantee favorable working conditions, ensuring fair wages, equal opportunities, and a discrimination-free environment. We are dedicated to eradicating child labor and human trafficking in both our operations and supply chain, strictly complying with national and international regulations that prohibit these practices.

Furthermore, we foster a culture of cooperation and social dialogue that aligns the interests of the company with those of its staff. Additionally, we promote professional development through personalized training programs.

  1. Sustainable Sourcing

We promote ethical and sustainable practices throughout our supply chain. By collaborating with suppliers to improve ESG performance, we promote responsible sourcing. Our policies ensure suppliers adhere to high standards of labor, environmental protection, and ethical conduct.

  1. Product Excellence

In the future, our goal is to promote the production of greener and safer products that meet the highest quality standards. Our strategy focuses on reducing environmental impact throughout the product life cycle, from raw material sourcing to final disposal, ensuring rigorous safety and quality standards for both consumers and the environment.

  1. Responsible Governance

The Group upholds the highest standards of integrity and anti-corruption practices in all our business dealings. We are committed to ethical business conduct, ensuring that our operations are transparent and accountable.
